On February 17, Yahoo split off from Google. Until that time Yahoo was using Google for its search programming. Yahoo now uses a separate algorithm. MSN is about to begin a major move into the search query business to compete with Google and Yahoo for ad revenues. In response to these changes, on 3/1/04 this firm established a different method to charge for our optimization services.

We are charging $33 a month for each month a specific phrase achieves a top 10 in any one of the three main devices. If a client contracts for a single phrase, if that phrase attains top 10 in all 3 devices, we run that clients card through for $99 for that month. If it only achieves top 10 in one of the three search engines, then the charge is $33 that month.

We take a deposit of $297 against results for 6 months. After 6 months, if there is any deposit left, we will refund that at your request. Once the deposit has been used up before 6 months has elapsed, the program can be discontinued at any time.

Most phrases will fit within this program. More difficult phrases will have higher fees, contracted for on a phrase by phrase basis.

We also rearrange and recode 10 or less pages of your site, submit you to the major search engines, drop in a statistics package (which you can access in order to track your traffic), and give you at least 50 relevant links from our regional and national directories and from related independant businesses.

Top 10 positions are usually attained with this program. If we don't believe we can attain a top 10 position for your targeted key word or phrase with this program, we will refer you to another agency.

Since we work on an ongoing retainer rather than a large one time up front fee, we screen our clients so that those phrases we succeed at getting a top 10 position are phrases the client will likely profit from. All we do is get high rankings. We do not control traffic or conversions. In other words, once a top 10 position is achieved, you need both the traffic to make it worth your continuing to retain us, and you need the conversions on that traffic to make a profit (if visitors to your site don't buy, then you have no incentive to continue the program).
